Becoming Catholic — R.C.I.A.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.)

560451127Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith?

The RCIA [Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults] process is one of discovery and discernment, and does not commit anyone to becoming a Catholic.  The fact is that many people have felt a call from God in their lives to join the Church.  Others have felt a call to complete their journey, perhaps never having received First Communion and/or Confirmation.

The process of study and prayer that takes place within the RCIA program, hopefully leads an individual to a better understanding of what it means to be a Catholic.

RCIA Is For…

  • Persons not baptized and interested in the Catholic Faith.
  • Persons baptized in a different religion who would like to become Catholic.
  • Persons baptized in the Catholic Church but did not receive First Communion and/or Confirmation.
