  FIRST EUCHARIST
 
The celebration of First Eucharist comes at the end of the second year of a child's participation in our religious program. In order for a second grade student to participate in the sacrament he/she must have completed first and second grade formal religious education.
Children are prepared at home by the parents in collaboration with our parish catechists. Children should know the basic prayers of our faith heritage (Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Hail Mary, and brief Mass responses). Celebration of this sacrament if held in May.
 
  FIRST RECONCILIATION
First Reconciliation is celebrated in the third grade following three years of formal religious education. Children are prepared at home by the parents in collaboration with our parish catechists. Celebration of this sacrament is held in November.
 
  CONFIRMATION
Confirmation is celebrated after the successful completion of two (2) years of high school confirmation program. Exceptations for the Confirmation candidate include:
      –  regular attendance at class and Sunday liturgy
      –  knowledge of our Catholic faith and traditions
      –  participation in a retreat experience
      –  community service
