St. Patrick CYO participated in CYO Day of Service on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Each year teams are assigned items for personal care kits that are donated to local food pantries and homeless shelters. The first part is to collect these items in large quantities for example St. Pats Girls Cadets were in charge of collecting 150 toothbrushes. The second part is bring items to service day where all the teams come together to assemble the kits. This year Nashua CYO set a record by making 786 personal care kits some of these went to the Pelham Food Pantry. So many lessons are taught at this one event how to work together with both teammates and on court adversaries, how to accomplish a large tasks, and to learn the importance of volunteering and giving your time and resources to those less fortunate. We were very blessed to have Bishop Libasci with us at Service day this year to lead us in prayer and help with the assembly line.
