From the Desk of the Pastor . . .
Summer is here!! School is out!! Families are enjoying the experience of an outdoor social life. While things may slow down here at St. Patrick, summer is a time for visioning. I leave a little more time in my schedule to daydream. I take longer walks with the Holy Spirit. You never know what is ahead for St. Patrick’s.
However there is one thing I do know for next year. That we are going to have a new Coordinator of Religious Education. Her name is Gael Ouellette. She has been part of the St. Pat’s family for years and it’s a pleasure to invite her on team. I believe and trust in her ability. I would love to introduce you to Gael, using her own words…
My name is Gael Ouellette, and I am the coordinator of the Religious Education Program for our parish. I have enjoyed a long and blessed history with our wonderful parish for over 15 years. I am involved with our Confirmation program, train and schedule the Altar Servers, coordinate our Family Mass Program, I am a Lector and Eucharistic Minister, have recently served on the Diocesan Cluster Task Force Committee, and I am a teacher here at St. Patrick School. God has blessed me with a wonderful daughter who is a graduate of St. Patrick School, now a sophomore at Pelham High, an Altar Server, a Family Mass Lector, and is to be confirmed in the Fall. My faith is the foundation of my life and I bring that to all I do and those I meet and work with. I am looking forward to meeting and working with you and your children.
