For men, the Cursillo is held in Oct., Dec., Feb and April. For women, it is held in Nov., Jan., March., May and June. They are usually held the first weekend of the month. It is recommended (but not required) that husbands attend first. There are yellow applications in the acrylic holders across from the bulletins at each of the back doors of the church. If you’d like to experience this uplifting weekend, please complete an application and give it to a sponsor or call Jackie Messina at 603.401.4116 for a list of sponsors. (DO NOT MAIL applications to St. Basil’s). It is important that you get your applications in early as the weekends fill up fast.

Rebuilding Together – Lowell Rehab Project
Please join us for an organized, single-day event to assist in fixing up a house in Lowell scheduled for April 26. St. Patrick’s Men’s Club is soliciting your help. We invite anyone willing to get a little dirty to help someone.

- SHANTYTOWN 2008 – HELP US HELP THE HOMELESS & HUNGRY
– Nationwide, 3.5 million people (of which 1.35 are children) will experience homelessness in a given year. In New Hampshire, the number is estimated at 20,000 per year. In one “point in time” count (a selected 24 hour period) the Department of Education identified 978 New Hampshire children who went to school without having a family home to go to at the end of the
- day. Last year, St. Patrick’s Shantytown was a huge success, heightening awareness and raising $9,860.78. There will be a meeting on Tuesday evening, April 15th, at 7:30 p.m. (after the 7:00 p.m. Mass) to discuss Shantytown 2008. Please join us to learn more about last year’s Shantytown and plans for this year’s upcoming event.
Shantytown will take place on Saturday, June 14, through Sunday, June 15.

- ALTAR SERVER – Anyone interested in becoming an Altar Server for St. Patrick Parish please fill out an application and return it before April 13th. You can drop it in the basket at Church or drop it off at the rectory. Children in Grades 4 and older are eligible. The training is 4-classroom sessions held in the Meeting Room from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on four (4) Sundays (to be determined) and practice time on the altar

- RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
First Reconciliation: For those who still need to receive the sacrament, you need to pass in the workbook immediately and make an appointment to receive the sacrament prior to April 25, 2008 in order to receive First Eucharist in May.
First Eucharist workbooks and information sheets are due NOW in the rectory office. Be sure to get them in order for your child to receive First Eucharist in May.

- ST. PATRICK TITHING FUND
"All that we have and all that we offer…" – Five percent of St. Patrick’s collections are used to help people who are in crisis or suffering in some way. In addition, we provide ontinuing financial assistance to the Pelham Food Pantry. We exist to support local,
- national and global needs. A committee is in place to review requests and disperse the funds to individuals or families in need. If you are in need of assistance or know someone in need, please contact the rectory or any of the committee members.

- FOR THOSE SEPARATED OR DIVORCED – An 8-week Divorce Recovery Support Group will begin on February 20 at St. Patrick Church, 12 Main St, Pelham, NH. The Wednesday evening meetings will be held in the Meeting

- ASSISTANCE FOR
ST. PAT’S & PELHAM COMMUNITY – Light yard work help for the St. Patrick’s and Pelham Community. If you, your neighbor or someone you know needs assistance with light yard work (cutting the lawn, trimming bushes, putting in or taking out air conditioners, taking items to the transfer station, etc.), The Men’s group is here
- to lend a hand. We would like to focus this assistance on people that may not be able to do these types of activities themselves for whatever reason.

- ST. PATRICK PRAYER LINE – We have an on going Prayer Line. Many of our friends and family are going thru difficulties, loss of loved ones, or personal problems and sickness. Our mission is to pray for them.

- CURSILLO – The Cursillo weekend is an invitation for you to experience the love of Jesus Christ on a personal level and bring this love and joy into your daily life. Cursillo is open to Christians at least 21 years old. At St. Basil’s Salvatorian Center in Methuen, MA your weekend begins on Thursday evening and concludes on Sunday evening.
- During the weekend, you will hear talks given by members of a team of 21 lay people and 3 spiritual directors. You will have the opportunity to participate in small table discussions, prayer, Divine Liturgy and great meals. You are invited to join us with an open mind and an open heart and the desire to grow spiritually.

- HONDURAS FUNDRAISING – Thank you to all who purchased poinsettias from the Honduras Youth Team. The success of this fundraising was due to the great generosity of the St. Patrick community. Thank you also for your continued support of our Change for Change Fundraiser. Those coins and dollars do add up!!

- CATHOLIC SCHOOLS – Diocesan Catholic Elementary/Jr. High Schools are presently accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year. Parishioners planning to have their children attend a Diocesan Catholic elementary or junior high school for the 2008-2009 school year, are encouraged to contact the school as soon as possible. For those who wish to know more about our schools and would like some guidance in choosing the right Catholic school, please go to the diocesan website at www.catholicnh.org for a complete school listing and web links to our schools.

- PELHAM FOOD PANTRY – The Pelham Food Pantry is open on Wednesdays from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. We are in need of personal hygiene products. If you would like to make a donation or donate any items, please call Marietta Potter at 603.635.2671.

- FRIDAY DEVOTIONS – First Friday of the month. Rosary starts at 7:00 p.m. with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament till 8:00 p.m. All are welcome.
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – On Wednesdays we have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament beginning at 8:30 a.m. till Noon. At 10:30 a.m. we pray the Rosary for all those on our St. Patrick Prayer list & add to our list at this time. At 11:30 a.m. we pray the Divine Chaplet.
On Tuesdays we have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament beginning at 7:30 till 8:00 p.m. Could you come to say "Hello" and visit for a bit?
